Hey guys! I plan on purchasing a brand-new, AH-IPS monitor to replace my 11 year old, TN, 16:10 monitor and I am beyond excited!
But I am still a bit worried. I'm going to be ordering it online (locally) and I want to be able to check it for damages or defects. In other words, to put it through "quality checks" on my own.
Is this possible for monitors? What do I look for when I get the new monitor? How do I test it properly?
I'm doing this because the store I'm ordering from only has a "2-week replacement, 1-year warranty" policy so I want to make sure that the monitor I'm getting is going to last me a new 10-ish years!
