Surround Issue

Okay I have 3 screens that run 1080p, 2x Samsung P2770HD 1x Samsung S27B350.
When ever I try to enable surround it only allows me to go to 1050, I looked under the Rez for the screens the 2x P2770HD comes up at 1920x1080 while the S27B350 comes out as 1080p I think that has something to do with it. If I set up surround with the 2x P2770HD the rez comes out to 1080. any ideas on how i can do surround with all 3 of my screens at 1080?

Hi,

I just bought the new QNIX QX2710 (with only DVI-D connection model). When I try to start the monitor, initially the monitor is working properly (power indicator showing blue light) but then after Windows 10 logo appear, the monitor suddenly become blank and the power indicator is blinking.
I tried to use my other monitor (Dell) and my WIndows can load perfectly. Below is the video of my problem:

My graphic card is GTX970 which support dual link DVI.
Anyone has the same experience like me? How to fix this?
Appreciate for the help!

Acer xg270hu Windows 10 DVI Dual Link stuck at 60hz

I do have a DP cable which gets me 144hz as expected but I have one of the older versions of this monitor which has a firmware problem making the overdrive feature not work over DP with FreeSync compatible cards causing awful motion blur and noticeable input lag. I'm in the process of arranging to get it sent in for a firmware upgrade and will do as soon as Acer decides to get back to me as they said they would.

For now I'm trying to connect over DVI Dual Link but the maximum I can set the refresh rate to is 60 and Crimson drivers report 75hz maximum resolution. I'm on Windows 10 which picks the monitor up as a Generic PNP Monitor. I've tried the drivers from the Acer site which are for Win 7/8.1 (they don't have any drivers for Win 10) and installed by disabling driver signature but this didn't seem to work either so with these drivers I'm still stick at 60hz.

I've also tried using CRU to create a custom resolution. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but what I did was just create a resolution of 2560X1440 @ 120hz (I'm not expecting 144hz at 1440p), clicked OK and rebooted. After doing this I can still only choose 60hz.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can get this monitor running at 120hz over DVI Dual link?

Cheers!

Dell 3007WFP Windows 10 2560x1600 not working

I have a friend that I have been trying to help. He had this old 3007WFP monitor that worked fine with his old computer. He upgraded to this machine http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0111MU...ailpages01

Now we cannot get the monitor to display 2560 x 1600 properly. We were able to get it to work by using the CRU to give us the parameters that we then entered into the AMD utility but he said (I was helping remotely) the colors were off and the letters looked funny - like not totally formed and hard to read.

Dell has refused to update the monitor driver since windows 7 http://commweb-ps3.us.dell.com/support-f...t/19485146

Is there any way to fix this?

Hey guys just wanted to ask why is my monitor not showing signal after the windows logo boot after adding a custom resolution using CRU. The monitor works fine without using custom resolution but it won't show it's native resolution so i used CRU to add the missing custom resolution but after adding it and restarting the monitor won't show signal after the windows boot logo.

Okay, so i had windows 7 before, but my hard drives were getting clogged, so i went to windows 10 (since i lost my motherboard cd i didnt wanna go through the whole process of live chatting a supporter... yes im stupid) and when i went to overclock my monitor to 70hz, i noticed that it was 173mhz clock, but my monitor is 170mhz clock. So i ignored that, i restarted my computer, and when it loaded up and i changed it, it was all fuzzy. Same goes for 68hz, which is i believe 168mhz, but its under 170. KEEP IN MIND! It worked for me on windows 7. I have installed monitor drivers, but not apu drivers (probably have with amd catalyst and windows 10). Please help! i really want 70hz as it was nice and im used to it to go back

Samsung S24B300 doesn't allow overclocking?

So I've tried going the nVidia route for overclocking and it comes up fine, tests fine in games (going from 60Hz to 80Hz) but after about a minute or two the screen turns off input and just says "not optimal" but simply turning the screen on and off fixes the issue.

I thought that maybe it was just not able to go that high, but it consistantly shuts off after one minute exactly, making me think it's a tamper-proof sort of thing.

Any idea if there is a way to disable this or am I simply doing something wrong?

http://www.lg.com/hk_en/monitor/lg-34UM68

This is the spec of the monitor, i'm planning using DP instead of HDMI.

H-Frequency (HDMI) 30~90kHz
V-Frequency (HDMI) 56~75Hz
H-Frequency (DisplayPort) 30~90kHz
V-Frequency (DisplayPort) 56~75Hz (FreeSync 40~75Hz)

will it oc good? 70 or 75hz will be nice and enough for me. and also maybe i'm trying to up the res a bit.

any info will be thanked Smile

Display Timing for Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ needed!

Hello

i got the Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ and try to configure following Video-Timings:

- 1680x1050@120Hz (with 129Khz vertical Timing, also called 2D-Mode for Desktop, reading somewhere in a forum)

AND

- 1680x1050@100Hz

For your info, its connected to a PPC-Motherboard with Radeon 6570HD and AmigaOS4.1 with newest RadeonHD-Driver.

1680x1050@120Hz with 185Khz which i found the Timing-informations in this forum is running for some minutes, but the OS and/or the Driver isn´t build for 3D-Stuff so it don´t show the Mousepointer and crashing after some time.

I Need the Timing-Sync-Sizes and Polarities for horizontal/vertical.

Here are some screenshots with the Buggy and under AmigaOS4.1 not correct working 3D-Mode:

The Tool:

The Testscreen:

I tried some Video-Timing-Calculating-Websites, but it doesn´t work. It seems this Monitor have some strange Timings.

Laptop intergrated graphics card 120hz

Hey guys.

So recently i used ToastyX' CRU on my laptop with GT 755M & Intel HD 4600. I have a ASUS VG248QE monitor and managed somehow to add 120hz on 1280x720 & 1024x768. Is this normal? Or did i somehow get lucky? When im trying to add some profiles for 1920x1080 it doesn't seem to work. Now keep in mind that the built-in screen on the laptop doesn't support the added 120hz profiles.

can I upscale on a CRT to see how app will look on a HiDPI TFT?

I'm running Windows 7 and I want to buy a HiDPI monitor. I'm running a lot of legacy apps (early 2000s and late 90s) and I want to see how will these look on that monitor.

I thought I could emulate this by running Win10 in a VM, max out the resolution of the host and guest, and then upscale the host to 150-175%. My current display is a 100-DPI 17" CRT that can do a 1600x1200 at 60Hz.

The results I got were not good. Some apps looked good, some looked mediocre, and some looked downright horrible! -- including the VBox additions installer. Even an OS window had text that looked blurry. I also noticed that when upscaling from 150% to 175%, the fonts changed a bit. Windows Explorer (the file manager) looked perfect though, which is why I used it as a comparison in some screenshots.

My question is: is my method good? How close is what I got to the real thing? Is this how my apps will look on the HiDPI monitor?

Here is a link to the complete pack of screenshots.

Switch from UHD to FHD. GPU Scaling make blurred fonts. How to fix it?

I have laptop with 980m and AUO109B UHD panel.

When i change resolution from native 3840x2160 to 1920x1080 (x1/2), i have blurred fonts. In control panel i have only GPU scaling mode. Adding custom full-hd resolution with CRU not activating Display scaling. When check (set) some established resolution in CRU, then Display scaling appears, but set the full-hd resolution make screen black.

What parameters may activate Display scaling? or i need to modify nvidia driver to set it's scale filter to pixel perfect?

help me plz

How to Surface book to run 2 -4K monitors

$

Surface Book can, according to Microsoft, support two 4K (3840X2160) monitors at only 30Hz. I can not find a way to set the refresh rate to 30Hz. In advanced settings, I only have 59Hz or 60 Hz options. I am running Windows 10, using the Surface Dock with two Display port outputs. The monitors are Samsung U28590D. The best I can do is run one monitor at 4K, the other at 1920X1080 with HDMI to display port cable. Two monitors at 60Hz, 4K resolution will not work. Any ideas of how to set the refresh rate to 30Hz, would I want to do that anyway? Are there any external adapters that may do the Job?
